Over-indebtedness file with the Banque de France

Applying to the Banque de France when you are in over-indebtedness will help you to regain financial stability.

How to do it : 

• Online application on the Banque de France website is open to individuals who file alone (without a co-depositor) and are not under legal protection (guardianship, curatorship, safeguard of justice, etc.). To apply, you need a France Connect login.
  You can also click on the "consult the leaflet" tab to access the explanatory leaflet, the list of supporting documents to enclose and the sub-folders to print out in order to store the requested documents. 
• Request by post should be sent to the Banque de France with the full application.

Documents to be provided : 

• Supporting documents listed in the document
• Letter explaining your situation
• Form for the Commission de surendettement des particuliers - declaration of overindebtedness (you can complete it on your computer before printing)

Deadlines

3 months after submission to receive confirmation that the application has been accepted
