Tribunes of May - June 2026

Communist and Republican Group

First of all, we would like to thank the 77,59% of voters who cast their ballots on 15 March, and who made it possible for Jean Pierre BOSINO to be re-elected as Mayor of our commune, at the head of a deeply renewed list committed to serving all Montatairiens, including the still too numerous abstainers, not forgetting those who voted for the opposing list.
Today, the municipal council has been installed and has legitimately set to work for Montataire, and for the Creil Sud Oise conurbation, another key issue for our region and our daily lives.
You can certainly count on the elected members of the majority to implement, with and for you, the programme you voted for.
The various committees and bodies have been set up, and the first traditional spring and summer events will be taking place over the coming weeks, including the «Hip Hop and World Dance and Music» festivals on Ascension Thursday, the «Reading Festival» in June and the «Summer Neighbourhoods» which bring our town to life every summer.
«Proud and United.
See you soon!

Socialist Group

For this first forum of the new term of office, we would like to thank all the voters who enabled the list led by our mayor to be elected with 77.59% of the votes.
As mentioned at the inaugural Town Council meeting on 21/03, the high abstention rate is a cause for concern and we need to reflect on the local and national reasons for it. This abstention confirms our choice to have participative democracy as the guiding principle of our municipal action for several terms of office.
With our group of 10 Socialist and related councillors and our Communist Group running mates, we will be determined to implement our municipal programme to maintain high-quality local public services, promote the wealth of our associative fabric and make investments that meet the needs of our fellow citizens.
Our seven representatives on the Community Council of the Agglomération Creil Sud Oise (ACSO) will be vigilant to ensure that no decision or transfer of powers is imposed by an absolute majority.
You can count on the elected members of our group to defend your interests on a daily basis.

Montataire: a hard-fought victory
The results of last March's municipal elections are unambiguous: our list received 633 votes (22.41 %), compared with 77.59 % for the outgoing mayor. We welcome this result with respect for universal suffrage and sincerely thank all those who placed their trust in us.
But there is another figure that should be of concern to all of us: 62 % abstentions. More than one in two residents did not turn out to vote. This drop in participation reflects a worrying lack of involvement in local public life, and even a form of democratic disenchantment.
In this context, victory calls for modesty. It should not be interpreted as full support, but as increased responsibility. It requires us to listen more, to engage in constant dialogue and to involve all Montatairians in the decisions that affect them.
For our part, we will take a demanding and constructive stance in opposition: supporting what is going in the right direction, alerting and proposing when necessary. The most important thing is to recreate trust and rebuild the democratic link that has been weakened.
