Educational Success Programme (PRE)

The PRE was set up in 2005 to address a range of difficulties encountered by children and young people aged 2 to 16. Working in partnership with schools, the programme offers personalised support, involving the child and his or her parents in a process designed to help the child achieve educational success.

The aim is to offer an approach that takes into account all aspects of the situation of a child or young person showing signs of fragility. This approach encompasses their physical and mental health, their emotional well-being, as well as their social and family environment. Parents, as their children's primary carers, are an integral part of this approach. An individualised pathway of actions, whether individual or collective, is proposed to the family with the aim of encouraging the child's success and development. It is important to note that the PRE is not intended to replace ordinary law. The duration of the programme may vary, but is limited in time.

The educational success pathway is validated by a multidisciplinary support team.

In the vast majority of cases, children and young people are identified by school education teams.
