The town offers a grant to young Montatairien-ne-s to support their higher education, with additional aid available depending on geographical area. Students aged 28 or under whose parents live in Montataire are eligible. The amount of the grant is determined according to the income of the parents, the student and the family quotient.

The project grant encourages initiatives by young people in Montataire aged between 16 and 28 who have been resident for one year. They may be secondary school pupils, students or unemployed, involved in cultural, sporting, civic, environmental, health or local community projects. Limited to one per year, it requires a financial contribution of at least 30 % of the total cost of the project. Individuals can get up to €200 and group projects up to €600.

The grant application is available from the children's reception. It must be submitted before the project begins.
