RCCEM
On 23 May 1921, the RCCEM was created on the initiative of the town council with the aim of electrifying the town. Since then, it has been providing economical, high-quality, local services to the city's residents. On behalf of the municipality, it carries out an essential public service mission:
- Supplying electricity at regulated sales tariffs to Montatairien-ne-s,
- Build, operate and maintain the electricity distribution network,
- Building and maintaining public lighting networks,
- Propose and implement services as part of the energy transition.
What about rates?
The regulated electricity sales tariffs applied by RCCEM are identical to those applied throughout France, as the price of electricity is set by law.
However, some of the prices charged by the Régie are lower. This is due to the close relationship they have with their customers.
- Only the bare essentials are charged for services.
- Requirements are defined with the customer. Travel to the site is free of charge, so that we can invoice as accurately as possible.
It should be noted that the municipality has long fought not to apply the municipal tax on electricity in order to reduce the bills of Montatairien-ne-s.
But since the 2020 Finance Act, it has been forced to apply this tax.
In the event of a street lighting fault, don't hesitate to contact the Régie directly, which will take the necessary steps to resolve the problem quickly.
