Welcome certificate

Do you want to accommodate a non-European foreigner for a tourist stay of less than 3 months? You must apply to your local town hall for a reception certificate. The certificate is issued if you meet certain conditions.

How do you go about it?

To obtain the certificate, you must go to the town hall with your file. The certificate must be validated by the town hall before applying for a visa (or before travelling in the case of visa exemptions). It must then be sent to the person abroad before their departure.

Go to the General Affairs Department with the originals and photocopies of the documents requested.

Completed reception certificate application form
Proof of identity
Proof of accommodation
Proof of resources
Parental certificate for minors
