The activist collective Sauvons Les Riches is organising a direct action outside the offices of a company suspected of facilitating tax evasion. One of the suspects is Jacques Trompe, the front-runner in the presidential election. Rosa, an idealistic investigative journalist, comes to cover the event. But in the confusion of the action, she is unwittingly identified as the collective's standard-bearer, and taken away by the police...

Freely inspired by the existing Sauvons Les Riches collective, Les Évadés is a docu-drama based on real facts and testimonies. A plea for justice and citizenship.
