Social centre festival

The town of Montataire invites you to Saturday 5 July 2025of 1.30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m.for the traditional Social Centre Festivalorganised at the Espace Hubert d'Hoker. This year's event will showcase Asian cultures through a rich and varied programme accessible to all.

Cultural shows and entertainment for all the family

Two highlights will punctuate the afternoon:

  • À 15ha lion dance show will open the festivities,
  • À 16h30a Bollywood dance performance will close this year's show on a colourful and lively note.

Visitors can also enjoy a wide range of activities throughout the day:

  • Wooden games, puzzles, photo booth, manga readings,
  • Creative workshops: Chinese hats, fans, dragons, etc,
  • Face painting, balloon sculpting, sumo wrestling,
  • Making spring rolls,
  • Tasting of Asian specialities,
  • The bookmobile will be on hand for book lovers.

A celebration of discovery and sharing

Organised with the support of numerous partners, this festival aims to promote cultural diversity and strengthen links between residents. It is free of charge and open to allfor young and old alike.
