Night of Reading
As part of the 10the For the national edition of Nuits de la lecture (Nights of Reading), the Public Reading Service will offer several activities on the theme of Cities and Countryside.
The programme
- 2pm to 4pm
3 Creative workshops (0-6 years old, 6-12 years old, teenagers) on the theme of reading nights. Hosted by the Montataire library team.
- 2:30 pm to 4 pm
Philosophical Encounter with Jocelyne Breton, Philosopher on the theme of «matrimony, heritage, town and village».
- 16h30
Afternoon tea to Elsa Triolet in partnership with the catering service.
- 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Storytelling show for all ages with storyteller Ben Brunhes. Play, sing, tell stories!
Accompanied by his guitar, his lyrics, various percussion instruments and an accordion, Ben Brunhes travels the roads of storytelling, song and music! He presents simple shows that are accessible to all, with songs and stories that convey messages and symbols. The word «storytelling», which is not always easy to define, could be replaced by popular and poetic tales from peoples around the world!
- 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Stargazing outing« on the green corridor by the association «Repère Astro 60». Between city and countryside, the aim is to popularise stargazing.
