Enter the competition «I write with chalk...» and give free rein to your creativity on the pavements of Montataire! Chalk, Write down your favourite quote, a poetic phrase, or (for children) draw an ephemeral work that will embellish our streets.
Libraries lend out chalk to help you realise your creation.
Photograph your creation, print it (available in libraries), and try to win the honour of seeing your work become the new library bookmark and vouchers for the «Le Verbe à l'Objet» bookshop».
Photos must be submitted to libraries by 13 June 2026. Open to all, no age limit! As part of the 2026 Book Festival.
