At the crossroads

At the crossroads is a powerful, poetic storytelling show, driven by the voice and presence of Diren Aydina passionate storyteller. This oral journey is for everyone, from 7 to 107 years old, and questions our freedom, our desires, and the paths we choose to follow.

The show consists of three tales - one of wisdom, one of wonder, and one of fantasy - all linked by the universal theme of the quest: the quest for oneself, for others, for the world.

Through her words, Diren Aydin opens up a sensitive space where everyone is invited to find themselves, to dream, to question. An invitation to spread your wings... and believe in your dreams.

A committed artist close to her audiences

Diren Aydin, who trained with some of the great names in storytelling, draws her inspiration from her Anatolian roots and her career as a popular educator. She tells her stories in theatres, on the streets, in hospitals and media libraries, driven by the desire to bring the oral tradition to life everywhere and for everyone.

She was also last April at the Maurice Mignon independent residenceas part of a workshop CLEA.

But what is a CLEA?

The Local Arts Education Contract is a scheme that enables artists to work in the area, sharing their world and helping young and old alike to discover artistic creation.

It's a great way of bringing art to life in the heart of the city, in partnership with local residents!
