A new phase of works begins at Les Martinets

Starting in March, phase two of the urban renewal project has been launched.

Work is starting along avenue Gabriel péri and as far as the Fernand Tuil esplanade. Below the esplanade, an area dedicated to young children will be created. The pedestrian links, including the stairs linking avenue Gabriel Péri to école jacques Decour, will be upgraded.

A new pathway will be laid out, replacing the existing one between Avenue Gabriel Péri and the city stadium, with more trees and easier access for pushchairs and people with reduced mobility.

The work will be carried out in stages. Traffic will not be disrupted. Parking spaces will be gradually taken over. Signage will gradually provide information for local residents.

At the same time, consultation on the next stage of the district's renovation is continuing.
