To qualify, you must be able to prove your identity, have been living in France for at least 3 months and have resources that do not exceed a certain threshold.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To find out more, visit <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ameli.fr\/assure\/droits-demarches\/situations-particulieres\/situation-irreguliere-ame\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Ameli website <\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How do you go about it?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To apply for state medical aid (AME) :\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul style=\"padding-right:var(--wp--preset--spacing--60);padding-left:var(--wp--preset--spacing--60)\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>For a first application,<\/strong> go directly to the reception desk of the Caisse Primaire d'Assurance Maladie (CPAM) in their place of residence to submit their application.
