The town of Montataire, in partnership with SA HLM de l'Oise, is organising a afternoon to raise awareness of waste management<\/strong> the Wednesday 24 September 2025<\/strong>at the Colonel Fabien residence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why this action?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Despite the recent renovation of the buildings on rue Colonel Fabien, waste management remains a daily challenge. Damaged rubbish bins, unauthorised dumping of bulky items, bags abandoned in public spaces: such behaviour is detrimental to the quality of life and image of the district.
That's why the City and its partners are working to help residents adopt good sorting habits and respect common spaces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The afternoon programme<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

From 2pm to 4pm<\/strong> :<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Door-to-door distribution of reusable shopping bags<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Samji workshop (creative and participative)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    From 4pm to 6pm<\/strong> :<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • Educational workshop on selective sorting<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Stand for creating your waste collection centre card<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Mobile recycling centre<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Exhibition and awareness-raising events<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Information stand on the use of bio-buckets<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Samji workshop<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Snack hosted by SA HLM de l'Oise<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      What happens next?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      The action will continue with :<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        \n
      • Accompanied bulky goods collection<\/strong>the Tuesday 14 October<\/strong>in the car park at 38 rue Colonel Fabien.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • A visit to the sorting centre<\/strong>the Wednesday 22 October<\/strong>from 10am to 12pm, with transport provided by SA HLM de l'Oise.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        A collective effort<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
