France, Empire
by Compagnie Un Pas de Côté - Nicolas Lambert

After the success of A-DemocracyNicolas Lambert debunks preconceptions about our colonial past and present. Personal memories and the national story collide. A facetious raconteur, he throws oil on the fire with a concern to convey the complexity of history, to track down the unspoken things that we carry around with us like cumbersome family secrets. And while laughter is never far away, the question remains: can we write a future on the rubble of a distorted past?
